D. Stephen Kiley, LCSW
Steve Kiley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has been in private practice for over 30 years. He is an Illinois native and completed his bachelor of science degree in psychology from DePauw University, a master of science degree in community mental health from Northern Illinois University, and a master of social work degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Mr. Kiley completed an internship at SwedishAmerican Hospital (Rockford, IL) in the Department of Psychiatry, Occupational Health Services.
Mr. Kiley provides quality mental health services in Rockford and northern Illinois, including psychotherapy services to children, adolescents and adults in addition to marital/relationship counseling. He presents a model of developing a confidential, professional relationship to assist individuals, couples, and families to focus on feelings, thoughts and behaviors to assist in the development of tools for significant life changes. A solution-based, insight oriented plan is developed by skillful listening to assist in this work. Areas of expertise include anxiety and mood disorders, anger management, dealing with issues of loss, co-occurring alcohol/substance abuse issues, and relationship matters. Mr. Kiley maintains a close, confidential working relationship with respective referral sources.
Professional memberships include the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work, Board Certified Diplomate; Academy of Certified Social Workers; National Association of Social Workers; Board Certified Diplomate; and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
Steve Kiley continues to be involved in numerous community organizations and is committed to assisting individuals and families to achieve their desired quality of life.
