Psychiatric Services
Providing the most effective treatment options is a major goal at Glenwood Center. We understand there are some mental health conditions that require more than psychotherapy to achieve the best treatment outcome. When antidepressants or other forms of psychotropic medications appear warranted, Glenwood Center provides in-house psychiatric services which makes it easier for the patient to have all of their counseling and psychiatric appointments in the same building. Coordination of care is important to our staff, so when a referral is made for medication, the reason is communicated clearly to the psychiatrist, pediatrician, or family doctor prior to your appointment with them.
For more information about psychiatric services or to schedule an initial appointment, please contact the center by phone at 815-968-5342.
