Tracy Shadley, FNP, PMHNP, FPA
Nurse Practitioner
Tracy Shadley is a dual certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She began working with In Home Medical Group (IHMG) in 2022. She started her nursing career in 1990 as a CNA in a sub-acute facility specializing with Alzheimer’s and dementia patients as well as Orthopedics and Oncology. She later went on to obtain her Associates of Applied Science in Nursing degree from McHenry County College in 2014 and then promptly went on to earn her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Kaplan University in 2015. She worked in the hospital setting in a variety of areas including; Medical/Surgical Unit, Telemetry/Cardiac, Orthopedic Surgery, and Oncology as a certified Chemotherapy RN. She also worked in the Heart Failure Clinic. Tracy continued on to earn her Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2017 with Family Nurse Practitioner certification from American Nurses Credentialing Center. Tracy has worked with a variety of patient populations, in a variety of settings and specialized in Primary Care and Physiatry. With a passion for mental health, in 2023 she completed additional post master’s education in Psychiatric and Mental Health throughout the Lifespan at Purdue University. Her additional PMHNP certification was earned through ANCC as well.
