Lisa Stear, LCSW

Lisa Stear is a licensed clinical social worker. She received her undergraduate degree from Marycrest University in Davenport, IA and her graduate degree from St. Ambrose University also in Davenport, IA. Lisa is a certified school social worker (type 73). Lisa has over 27 years experience working in a variety of social work settings. In her travels she has worked in such settings as hospitals, a health department, a domestic violence program, hospices and schools. Lisa is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

Lisa enjoys working with children and adults. She works with a variety of diagnoses but specializes in behavior disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder as well as anxiety, depression, grief, death/dying and end of life issues in adults. Lisa enjoys helping families build more effective skills for building and resolving ineffective communication. Many are attracted to Lisa’s gentle yet enthusiastic spirit in their journey toward healing. Lisa combines play, sand work, cognitive behavioral therapy and brief solution focused therapy to help people live better lives.
